El Picacho is one of the seven tutelary hills of Medellín and stands out for the beautiful view it offers. After walking up more than 300 steps, we will reach its peak, about 2,100 meters above sea level. On this tour you will connect with nature and visit a popular residential area, away from the commercial and tourist dynamics of the city. There we will share stories of different zones and landmarks of the metropolitan area, while we point them out and show you from above. We will also lend you binoculars to zoom in on some interesting sites from the past and present.
Then, we will continue to a lookout bar restaurant, where you can stop to rest and have a drink or snack.
You will have the opportunity to walk through the places where stops are made.

Tour itinerary at the El Picacho lookout point and gastronomic viewpoint
– Ascent to the top of the hill: once we reach the base of the viewpoint, a little more than 300 steps separate us from the top. We will walk up the hill, amidst native vegetation and ancient rocks.
⏱️ Suggested length of stay: 30 minutes
– Observation of the city from the viewpoint: we will show you different areas and landmarks of the city and tell you some important facts. We have binoculars to zoom in on some places of interest. You will also be able to take pictures.
⏱️ Suggested duration: 40 minutes
– Descent on foot: we will return to take the vehicle to continue to the next point of the itinerary.
⏱️ Suggested duration: 20 minutes
– Stop at a lookout restaurant in the area: we will take you to a nearby restaurant-bar, where you can order some drinks, dinner or snacks (the cost of drinks or food is not included in the tour price). If you do not wish to make this stop, you can use this time to extend your visit to the hill.
