Presentation
From the summit of El Picacho, the hilltop viewpoint known for offering the most comprehensive panoramic view of the city, you can watch the sun set over Medellín, take in the grandeur of this metropolis of more than 4 million people as its lights come on at night, and observe the daily life of residents in a traditional working-class neighborhood.
We’ll show you around the city and its main historical and contemporary landmarks from a prime vantage point (about 2,100 meters above sea level) that will allow you to take in the entire valley at a single glance. We’ll use binoculars to view certain spots in greater detail, which will be both enlightening and fun.
On this tour, you’ll connect with nature and visit a popular residential area, away from the commercial and tourist hubs that travelers usually visit.
