The trip departs from Medellín to Guatapé, a municipality located in eastern Antioquia, on a journey of approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles).

Itinerary

Piedra del Peñol (Peñón de Guatapé): enjoy the spectacular view offered by this unique place in the world and take unforgettable photos. The ascent to the top of the rock is optional and has an additional cost to be paid at the ticket office. Current rate: COP 25,000.
🕍 Town of El Peñol and Rock Temple: tour the center of this town and its Catholic parish built in the likeness of the Peñol Stone.
🏘 Old Peñol Replica: this “mini town” is a small-scale replica of what was the old main square of the municipality of El Peñol.
🍛 Lunchtime: we will recommend lunch options. Expenses incurred in this activity are not covered in the tour rate. You can also add lunch to the tour during the reservation.
⛴ Boat ride (shared service with other tourists; can be modified for private service during the reservation): navigate on the waters of the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir and learn about the history of the place told by local guides.
Streets of Guatapé: guided and narrated tour through the main park, Calle de las Sombrillas, Plazoleta de los Zócalos, Calle del Recuerdo, malecón.
🦙 Llamas and farm animals in the Alto del Chocho area: experience interacting with these beautiful beings, remember to treat them with respect and affection!

Attention! In this private tour you can spend as much time as you wish on each activity (except for the boat ride, which has a defined duration). You can also request free time for activities on your own. The guide will only define the time of return, so that the tour does not exceed the total duration agreed upon.
